This notice sets out the basis which Chiltern Telecom will process personally identifying information (‘Personal Data’) that we collect and receive from and about a) users of our web sites and web portals www.chilterntelecom.co.uk www.unionstreet.uk.com and b) users of our telecommunications products and services (‘Services’).

Chiltern Telecom’s general commitments to privacy are such that:

Data Collection

We collect the following data from or about you as a Chiltern Telecom customer or reseller, which may include Personal Data:

  • Data collected directly from your business through the service ordering process, including: a contact name, a contact telephone number, a contact email address, a postal address, and bank details for Direct Debit payment purposes.
  • Data collected directly from your business for the purpose of setup, delivery and configuration of Services, including: site contact name, site contact telephone number, site contact email address, site postal address, telephone subscriber number, telephone subscriber name, telephone subscriber email address, and telephone Subscriber alternative number.
  • Data received directly from your business and/or your customers through your use of our Sites. The data transmitted from your browser includes: your IP address, the date and time of the visit, the duration of each visit, the pages accessed, the HTTP access code returned, the type, version and default language of your browser, and your device operating system type and version.

Data Uses

We use the data collected from your business to:

  • Deliver, support and maintain the Services that you have ordered.
  • Bill you for the Services that you have ordered.
  • Contact you with important updates concerning the status, features, and ongoing development of your active Services.
  • Contact you with product, marketing and other informational messages which you have requested or agreed to receive from us (e.g. via our email). Contact you feedback requests.
  • To analyse the purchase history of our customers, and the way our customers use our Services and our Sites.
  • Notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

  • While your organisation remains a reseller or customer of Chiltern Telecom we will continue to hold and process the data stated above.
  • You may use your access to Chiltern Telecom’s Site at any time to update the contact information and telephone user information associated with your organisation. To change your organisation’s billing details please contact accounts@chilterntelecom.co.uk.
  • We will seek your agreement to send you non-essential product, marketing and other informational messages, and will record your opt-in to receive these messages.
  • As an individual, you may query what information Chiltern Telecom holds on you, and may request for this information to be deleted by emailing accounts@chilterntelecom.co.uk
